Information wants to be free...
"People caught downloading music or video files illegally could also be sued for a maximum of $500, but uploading a file to a peer-to-peer network or YouTube could result in lawsuits of $20,000 per file."
"The digital lock provisions are worse than the DMCA. Yes - worse."

Unnecessary junk...
Just read the Thought for the Day from Phil Booth on The Star's Horoscope page:Thought for the Day: Do you feel like a marionette being yanked into impossible positions by a puppeteer having a psychotic breakdown? The high-voltage energy of Uranus has crashed at a highly dynamic square-angle into Mercury.
WTF?!?! That's real comforting... in a psychotic kind of way...
Come to think of it though, it does kind of sound like marriage.
Started going through my old journals again last night. Finally finished transferring everything I wanted to keep to digital format. I came across the first reference I had ever written down in regards to what has become the title of this blog - from 1999. Burned the journals afterwards. Cathartic.
I seem to be in a major scaling back mode in my life. Getting rid of a lot of unnecessary junk. Mental and physical.
The only constant is change. Similar idea to The Matrix's "there is no spoon..." Well, no, not if I'm getting rid of everything there isn't...
